Remember all those times you told your mom that you were old enough to have responsibility when you were younger? You would look at her and say, "But Mom! I'm big enough!" or something like that, right? And then you got older.
Now there's things you HAVE to do. You just want to run back to mommy and say, "I was wrong. I'm not big enough."
I discovered that my mother was right. She told me that this would happen. I, as an arrogant child, never believed her.
When I moved out of my mother's house, I paid for gas money, a hotel room, groceries, and other things of that nature. Doing this, I looked at my boyfriend and said, "You know what? Mom was right." He laughed.
Now, the two of us are paying the car payment, gas, and rent for our house. I keep thinking, "I wish I was young again..
